- TCL lighting and suning group signed a strategic cooperation agreement to carry out lighting products cooperation
- TCL lighting national laboratory is approved by the CNAS (China certified national accreditation council) accreditation laboratory

2013
- TCL Lighting increase capital RMB50 million, total registered capital at RMB70 million;
- Become GL30 (Chinese Green Lighting Alliance 30) members;
- Become Huizhou LED brand development association chairman unit;

- TCL set up Huarui package, realize LED industry chain integration;

- Invest RMB20 million to set up TCL light source technology (Huizhou) Co., ltd.;

2004
- Invest RMB8 million to set up TCL lighting lighting (Baoji) Co., ltd. with North Lighting;

- Develop lighting products with cooperation of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Southwest Jiao Tong University, Guangzhou Acmdemy of Fine Arts;
2003
- Won national R&D fund support for Energy saving products (electronic ballast and electronic energy-saving lamps) technical transformation project ;
- To be electronic transformer international standard setting unit, and become the electronic energy saving lamps, electronic ballast national standard revised unit;
2000
- In June 28th, formally established Huizhou TCL Lighting Electrical Appliance Co. Ltd., with registered capital of RMB 4million;
